Yes. The caregiver rests when the elder or patient sleeps or is settled, and is available for anything needed during the night. For patients who need someone awake and monitoring all night, we discuss on the call whether a nurse or a second person is needed.
A clean place to sleep, meals or an agreed allowance, access to a bathroom, and reasonable rest time including a weekly rest day as agreed.
The rest day is agreed at the start. Depending on the family's needs we arrange cover for that day or the family plans around it. This is written into the quote.
We arrange a replacement as quickly as possible and keep you informed throughout. Your coordinator is your single point of contact.
