Home care support

Post-hospitalisation care at home in Hyderabad

Post-hospitalisation care is round-the-clock support at home in the days and weeks after discharge: a live-in patient attendant for daily care and, where the doctor directs, a live-in home nurse for medicines, dressings and monitoring, so recovery continues safely outside the hospital.

What is included

What the service covers

  • Before discharge

Share the expected discharge date and summary; we plan the attendant or nurse before the patient comes home.

  • The first 72 hours

Settling the patient, setting up the care sheet (medicines, diet, movement limits, warning signs, contacts), and closer observation through the night.

  • Daily care

Hygiene, feeding, repositioning, mobility and medication reminders by the attendant.

  • Nursing tasks

Injections, dressings, catheter or tube care and monitoring by a nurse, as prescribed.

  • Family updates

Daily notes and immediate calls for anything unusual, so follow-up visits are well informed.

Before you leave the hospital: a short checklist

  • Get the discharge summary and a written medicine list with timings
  • Ask which activities are restricted and for how long
  • Ask which warning signs mean you should call the hospital
  • Confirm the follow-up appointment date
  • Arrange equipment the doctor recommends (hospital bed, walker, commode, air mattress)
  • Prepare a place for the live-in attendant or nurse to rest
  • Share the summary with us on WhatsApp so the attendant or nurse is briefed before arrival

Questions families ask

Post-Hospital Care: questions families ask

Can care start on the day of discharge?

Yes, if you contact us before discharge. Share the expected date and the summary, and the attendant or nurse can be at home when the patient arrives.

Do I need an attendant or a nurse after surgery?

Most patients need an attendant for daily care. If the discharge plan includes injections, dressings, catheter or tube care, a nurse is needed. We advise from the discharge summary whether one or both are needed.

Do you coordinate with the hospital?

We work from the written discharge plan you share and report to the family. The family remains the hospital's point of contact; we help you follow the plan and tell you promptly if something needs the doctor's attention.

How long is post-hospital care needed?

It varies from a week or two after a straightforward surgery to several months after a stroke. Tell us your expected duration and we confirm what is possible.

What are the charges?

Charges are per month and depend on whether you need an attendant, a nurse or both, and the duration. We give a written quote after reviewing the discharge plan.

Which hospitals' patients do you support?

Any hospital in Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Our location pages list the major hospitals near each area we serve.

A short call is enough to understand the situation and send a written quote. No commitment, and if a simpler arrangement would serve you better, we will say so.
